Do you struggle with task paralysis, or the overwhelm of a never-ending to-do list? Most productivity apps just give you another list to ignore. Daily Compass is different. The idea was born out of different methods I have used in my own life to help me stay on task, as well as methods I have used with others who struggle with focus. Daily Compass is different. The most important thing to note is it is not another app to further disrupt your already compromised executive functioning. Rather, it is a live texting chat.
The Daily Compass Experience
We won’t just track your habits; we will work together to build the "brain bridges" needed to start, stay focused, and finish.
🌅 The Morning Intentionality Check-In: Executive dysfunction often translates to early morning anxiety over what lays ahead in your day. You will start with a morning message in which you will set your goals for the day, stating what your plan is and what you would like to get done. My response will help you organize your day realistically, helping you to structure your goals into more doable chunks, anticipate those things that might get in the way, and plan for disruptions.
📍 The Midday Pivot: Life happens. In the middle of the day, we will have a check-in text to celebrate wins or adjust your plan if things went off course. No shame, just strategy.
🌙 The Evening Wrap-Up: Close the "open loops" in your mind. The evening wrap-up reviews the day’s progress and clears your mental workspace so you can actually rest, knowing exactly where you’ll pick up the next day.
Additionally, there will be a weekly 30-minute phone call to figure out what’s working, what’s not, and make necessary adjustments.
